The Council also gave a big thumbs up to Women's History Month 2024, noting the progress women have made and the work still left to do. 🏫 VPSD Seeks Voter Support for Modernization

Valley Park School District has been spreading the word about the benefits of its Proposition B, which will be on the ballot in the upcoming April election. If approved, Prop B would fund upgrades to school facilities, including the baseball field, performing arts center, classrooms, and restrooms, all without raising taxes. The district believes these enhancements will create more personalized, student-centered, and secure learning environments for all students.

🔗 Fiber Fever Spreads Across Wildwood

Wildwood's been hard at work bringing high-speed internet to every nook and cranny of the city. Spectrum flipped the switch on fiber service for a bunch more neighborhoods, including Map Areas 1-6, 8, 9, 11 and 12 (project map available here). For the rest of you Wildwood-ers still twiddling your thumbs waiting for an upgrade, hang tight - Spectrum says they'll have you hooked up by March 2024, as long as the weather plays nice and their gear doesn't go on the fritz.
