🛑 Chesterfield's Concrete Conundrum
When MoDOT started installing concrete islands along Clarkson Road in Chesterfield last month, they didn't expect such strong opposition. The $52 million safety project, designed to slow traffic and reduce accidents, has been temporarily halted after residents and city officials voiced concerns about lack of public input and potential safety hazards.

A Canadian film crew has chosen the Chesterfield Mall as the star of their upcoming documentary about the rise and fall of American shopping malls. Bright Sun Films is captured the mall's final chapter before its demolition, documenting how the mall represents countless similar stories across the country. The film, set for release in 2026, will preserve memories spanning nearly five decades.
🌊 Tuesday Storms Flood West County Roads
Tuesday's storms dumped seven inches of rain across St. Louis, causing widespread flash flooding. Interstate 44 near Valley Park experienced significant delays throughout the day. The venue sits between Napoli Bros. and 4 Hands Brewing Co.

The event will being at 8:30am on November 7th at City Hall, following the city’s regular Coffee with the Mayor gathering.
