AAA expects 45.1 million Americans to travel at least 50 miles from home this Memorial Day weekend. This breaks the previous record of 44 million set in 2005. Nearly 39.5 million people will drive to their destinations. Missouri gas prices average $2.87 per gallon, down 34 cents from last year's Memorial Day weekend.

🚧 Boly Lane Construction Starts Tuesday

Twin Oaks will begin construction work on Boly Lane after Memorial Day. The east side exit from Boly Lane to Big Bend Road closes completely on Tuesday, May 27th for at least seven days. During construction, drivers must use the right lane on the west side to exit onto Big Bend Road.

🏘️ Major Development Projects Begin in Town Center

Four major residential developments are beginning construction in Wildwood's Town Center area. The projects will add 333 new homes including apartments, single-family houses, and townhomes. Construction timelines range from spring 2025 through 2026, with the largest project featuring 188 apartment units and ground-floor commercial space on Main Street and Taylor Road.

🥕 Fresh Start: Wildwood Market Returns

The Wildwood Farmers Market opens today at Town Center Plaza. The weekly market runs from 8am to noon and features multiple vendors including Friedel Family Farm for produce, Farrar Out Farm for meats, Tamale Man, Becky's Salsa Shack, and Honeybee Flower Truck. Additional artisan vendors will sell handcrafted goods and local art.
