🏛️ Overpayments Have Plagued County Depts for 8 Years

A recent revelation shows that St. Louis County has overpaid 61 employees across 12 departments by over $195,000 since 2016. Officials attribute the errors to inadequate payroll systems and poor communication. 🏢 Eureka's Prop E Promises Coming To Life

Eureka plans to spend nearly $27 million more than its projected revenue this fiscal year (which began July 1st) to complete projects funded by its Prop E Public Safety Sales Tax. The deficit spending will cover the construction of a new government center, the replacement of the Allenton Bridge, and the implementation of additional flood mitigation measures, all aimed at improving public safety and infrastructure in the city.

🌊 Timbers Pool Transitioning to School Hours

As the school year begins, the Timbers Pool is adjusting its hours to accommodate students' schedules. From August 12 to September 2, the pool will be closed on weekdays but open for weekend and Labor Day fun. Families can still enjoy splashing around together on Saturdays, Sundays, and the holiday, with hours from 12pm to 6:30pm (5:30pm on Sundays).
