🌳 39 Houses to Border Creve Coeur Park

McBride Homes has proposed a new 39-home subdivision called Louiselle Park in Maryland Heights, bordering Creve Coeur Park. The 14.98-acre project, located at 2212 Rule Ave., is awaiting final city approval but could start home sales as early as this summer. Buyers will be able to choose from eight possible home designs in McBride's Oakwood series. Read more here.

🐕 NAPWDA Brings 42 K9 Teams to Eureka

The St. Louis County Police Department recently hosted the NAPWDA Missouri State Workshop in Eureka, bringing together 42 K9 teams for certification and training. The North American Police Work Dog Association (NAPWDA) event aimed to unite and assist law enforcement agencies in improving their K9 units. Participants engaged in various exercises to sharpen their skills and maintain the high standards set by the organization.

📚 Share Your Tale: Library Seeks Local Stories

The St. Louis County Library is accepting story submissions from adults for their 45th annual St. Louis Storytelling Festival. Selected stories will be performed live on stage by The Repertory Theatre of St. Louis on November 17, 2024. Submissions in audio or text format will be accepted from May 1 through July 31, 2024.

🏅 Introducing 2024's Post-Dispatch Scholar Athletes

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch has announced its 58th annual Scholar Athlete program honorees for 2024. The prestigious award, created by the late Hall of Fame Baseball Writer Bob Broeg in 1965, recognizes high school seniors who excel both in athletics and academics. To qualify, students must have lettered in at least one varsity sport, rank in the top 25 percent of their graduating class, and maintain good standing at their respective schools.

STL Magazine recently released a list of the best bakeries in St. Louis, and Chesterfield's own Kim's Bakery made the cut. The local establishment, which has been serving the community for 20 years, was recognized for its delightful Korean pastries, cakes, and cookies.

🏅 T&C Police Support Special Olympics Games

🗑️ No Trash Pickup Today Due to Truman's Bday

Today Public Works and Sanitation will be closed in observance of Truman's Birthday. However, City Hall offices will remain open from 8am to 4:30pm. If your regularly scheduled trash pickup is today, your trash will instead be collected tomorrow.
