Recent counts of St. Louis County's unhoused population show increasing community needs. Local organizations identified 452 individuals requiring shelter and support services, leading to a 32% increase in program funding. The county is responding with expanded services including three emergency shelter locations offering meals and basic facilities.

🏓 Indoor Pickleball Coming to District

A new indoor sports facility is coming to Chesterfield this summer. Paddle Up Pickleball Club will open its second location at The District, bringing 23,000 square feet of courts, coaching, leagues and tournaments. The facility joins entertainment destinations like The Factory, Main Event, and Topgolf in the expanding complex.

🧀 Valentine's Board Class in Chesterfield

Chesterfield City Hall is hosting a special charcuterie workshop led by Sara's Boards and Boxes. The Valentine's-themed class on February 10 will teach participants how to arrange meats, cheeses, and accompaniments. 🌞 Summer Camp Signups Set to Sizzle

Chesterfield Parks and Recreation Department will begin accepting summer camp registrations on February 3rd next week. The programs run June 2 through August 1 at Central Park, offering activities for children ages 5-12. The camp includes games, crafts, and outdoor activities, with flexible drop-off and pickup times available.

Creve Coeur

🌳 Greenway Extension Plans Move Forward

The Creve Coeur City Council is reviewing plans to extend the Centennial Greenway trail system. The $7.7 million project would connect the existing path from Schuetz Road across Lindbergh Boulevard to Baur Boulevard. Great Rivers Greenway will cover 40% of construction costs, with federal grants being sought for the remaining portion.
