The two-story, 74,000-square-foot building is not only replacing the former headquarters but also claiming the title of the district's largest branch. With cool features like an outdoor reading deck, extensive genealogy collection, and a handy small-business center, the Clark Family Branch is ready to redefine what a library can be for St. Louis County residents.

💼 State Departments Relocate to Chesterfield

A new era is set to begin as Missouri state employees prepare to relocate from downtown St. Louis to Chesterfield. The Missouri Board of Public Buildings, including Gov. Parson and Lt. Gov. Kehoe, unanimously approved the move, citing financial reasons. The state will sell two buildings, including the historic Wainwright State Office Building in downtown St. Louis, as part of the transition.

🚧 Boone Bridge Section of Trail Off-Limits

Hikers and bikers, take note: the Monarch Levee Trail beneath Boone Bridge is currently inaccessible due to flooding. The Chesterfield Parks, Recreation & Arts Department announced the closure of this section of trail on both sides of Highway 40. Trail users are encouraged to explore other routes while water levels remain high.
