🌪️ Tornado Touched Down in Chesterfield

The National Weather Service has confirmed that an EF0 tornado touched down in Chesterfield, just north of Interstate 64 around 6:30pm Monday night. The tornado reached peak winds of 85 mph and caused notable damage to homes in the area, including damaged roofs and toppled trees. Fortunately, no injuries have been reported as a result of the tornado. Read more here.

🎒 Parkway South Students Unite for Service Day

Parkway South High School is gearing up for its first-ever South Serves Day on April 18th. 1,500 students and 140 staff will participate in 55 different service projects across Manchester, from park beautification to helping at animal shelters. The event, organized by the school's PREPS club, aims to foster a culture of community involvement and giving back. Read more here.

St. Louis County Library is celebrating National Poetry Month with a poetry contest open to all ages 7 and up. 🦌 Wildwood Hits Bullseye in Deer Management

Wildwood's deer management program culled 300 deer in early 2024, meeting its goal for the first year. The city now seeks resident input on areas of concern and invites property owners to participate in future culling efforts to maintain a balanced deer population.
