🔨 Boone Bridge Rehab Starts Next Month

A massive overhaul of Chesterfield's westbound Boone Bridge is set to begin this March, bringing significant changes to I-64 traffic patterns. MoDOT's rehabilitation project will redirect westbound lanes to the eastbound bridge through December 2025, maintaining three lanes in each direction with a safety barrier between opposing traffic.

🗳️ Early Voting Opens in St. Louis County

St. Louis County residents can now vote early for the upcoming April 8th municipal election. The ballot includes an important measure about County Council authority over department heads, along with various local leadership positions in local communities. Voters need an approved excuse for absentee voting. Sample ballots are available online here.

🎨 Art Fair Returns to Faust Park

St. Louis County Parks has announced the return of the Faust Park Art Fair for August 16th of this year. The event will bring together artists from across the region to showcase and sell their work at the historic park grounds in Chesterfield.

💵 Financial Education For Children

The St. Louis County Library is offering "Thinking Money for Kids". The program will teach children financial education concepts through games and activities. This educational initiative is sponsored by the American Library Association and the FINRA Investor Education Foundation to help build early money management skills.

A new coffee option has come to Twin Oaks. Rosemary Coffee Company's grand opening is set for March 1st. The shop has already opened its doors on the first floor of The Villages at Twin Oaks apartments, operating six days weekly. The official celebration will formally introduce this new business to local residents.

🍀 Clancy's Fundraiser Helps Lanes Rebuild

West County Lanes is receiving community support following severe damage from January’s winter weather. Clancy's Irish Pub in Ellisville has organized a YETI cooler raffle to help fund rebuilding efforts. Tickets are available for $10 each or three for $20, with the drawing scheduled for this Friday at 8pm via Facebook Live.

🥖 New Potbelly Shops Coming to Region

Potbelly Sandwich Works is planning a major expansion in the St. Louis area. The restaurant chain, which currently operates three local shops including one in Creve Coeur, will add seven new locations through a local franchisee. The company hasn't yet revealed where the new restaurants will be located or when they'll open.

🔬 STEM Fest Dazzles Parkway Community

Parkway's STEM Fest 2025 took place last Saturday, featuring various science, technology, engineering, and math activities. The annual event included robotics, experiments, and dinosaur exhibits:

🏆 Lafayette Students Win App Contest

A team of local students demonstrated their programming skills in a national competition. The Lafayette High juniors spent two months creating Health Sphere, an app that combines fitness tracking with artificial intelligence to help users monitor health goals and assess medical symptoms. Their work earned third place in the Congressional App Challenge.

🏗️ Progress Updates on Olia Village Plans

Recent updates from the Creve Coeur City Council meeting show progress on the Olia Village development on Olive Boulevard. Developers are finalizing agreements with a major tenant and expect to submit site development plans within two months. The project will soon launch an interactive website and begin clearing trees in the buffer zone.

🐕 Ellisville Dog Park Reopens

Ellisville residents can once again use the Bluebird Park dog area. The park's lock system, which caused a recent closure, has been repaired.

🐕 Eureka's Paw-fect Park Awaits

The Eureka Dog Park continues to welcome four-legged friends at Berry Park on Forby Road. Annual memberships are available at The Timbers for $40 for residents and $55 for non-residents. Each membership covers up to three dogs and requires proof of current vaccinations.

👮 T&C's Rookie Officer Wins Top Honor

The Town & Country Police Department recognized one of their own at their annual staff banquet. Officer Nathan Dye received the 2024 Officer of the Year award. Fellow officers nominated him for his consistent demonstration of high professional standards.

🏗️ Wildwood Approves 50-Acre Development

The Wildwood City Council has approved development of the 50-acre parcel at the corner of State Routes 109 and 100. McKelvey Homes will begin work soon on the project, which includes tree removal and phased grading. The development, one of the last large tracts in Town Center, will bring over 115 new households to the area.
